I literally saw an add or commercial with Serena Williams taking something… like why is the best female tennis player of all time on that? She’s so freaking athletic… whattttt???

I’m actually on Ozempic for my diabetes. It has terrible side effects but it helps kept my diabetes under control. Unfortunately it didn’t help with weight loss. Why someone would want to take it for weight loss when they don’t need to is beyond me.

It’s not going to get you hate. ❤️I have a love/hate relationship with this effing shot- I took it after I had my baby, was successful and now I’m a fucking weight yo yo. So annoying. The side effects suck. I want to just eat a large pizza lmao.

I agree with you 100%. I also lost weight naturally. I went from 335 to 163 and had loose skin removal. While I know I look great, I’m still considered “thick” and I still feel BIG compared to all the skinnier girls. It’s so hard to love who I am when I feel like I can be skinner.

I hear you on this. It’s obnoxious. I’m 6ft and 230 lbs. I’m active but still heavy. Hard to always be the big one.

I was on Ozempic for my diabetes and i had a really weird reaction to it. It gave me severe depression and Anhedonia. And I couldn't lose weight on it. As soon as i got off it i was able to lose 12kg. Im never touching it again. It did help me quit smoke though so that was good at least

Everyone deserves to feel good in their bodies no matter what. We should not project our insecurities on everyone else. I’ve lost 143 lbs and have used Zepbound but worked my ass off too. Losing weight “naturally” isn’t a flex, and no one should have to be ok with a little chub to make others feel less insecure.

I’m currently on zepbound. Now before I started I was 250lbs, pre diabetic, high blood pressure, severe sleep apnea, and my joints were being destroyed. I started zepbound 5 months ago and I am at 180lbs. Still 30-40lbs to get to my goal weight, but I am also very short. According to the bmi chart, I am supposed to be 110lbs. However I do not want to be a twig. I want to feel confident and have a curvy/toned body. I just want to be healthy for my two kids and to be around for years to come and watch them grow up. Ya know? Along with the weight loss, my BP has gone down to a healthier level, I am no longer pre diabetic, and my joints are starting to not hurt as bad. I see your points for sure. I just want to put in my reason and thought process as to why I chose this route because there are many reasons for different people and not all are just to be skinny. After my second was born, he’s now 8, I had sever post partum depression, my metabolism essentially came to a halt, and I lost myself. Keep in mind, I was a curvy but thinner girl my entire life. I have a smaller body type so I was around 120 as an adult until I had my daughter, now 10. I went from 120 up to 180 with my pregnancy with her and started to lose a little then got pregnant with my son where my weight just kept climbing. It was hard to keep up with them as they were growing, I was unhealthy, and unhappy. I spent years, literally YEARS doing everything I could to try to naturally lose weight. No matter how hard I tried, it wouldn’t come off because my body gave up. My PCP spent the last 2 years trying to offer help of a glp-1 but I kept turning it down because I hadn’t heard a lot of positive outcomes. So I really started doing my research while still eating healthy, smaller portions, daily exercise on top of my very physically demanding job, and then finally caved. Honestly, I’m glad I did. My health is actually improving for the better on multiple things. I am finally starting to feel confident in my own body, I can keep up better with my kids, and health issues that were rising are going back to normal. Just sharing my story so people can see there are positive outcomes too. 💛
