Vegeta vs Kid Buu reminds me of Bardock vs Gas(Berserk state) Despite Bardock outmatch by Gas and battle damaged his determination, drive and saiyan trait kept pushing him to fight despite losing until he got a power up ending gas for good I see the same for Vegeta knowingly was outmatched normally Vegeta has a ego during fight but this time he was showing determination and self sacrifice(meaning if it killed him) and even on the ground he still got up and continued to fight no matter(peak Vegeta character development)
