Just tell the nurses. They will handle it. But don’t even tell them when you’re in labor. It’s not a sightseeing event. It’s not like waiting for old faithful to blow… it’s a medical procedure. And the fact she thinks this is about her just makes me gag.

I was woth my daughter for the births, but never once felt like I needed to be there with daughter in laws. my sons wouldn't want me to see their partner in that way. and its not my place to be.

The way I would cut contact and immediately tell my husband , and if he took her side he wouldn’t be allowed in the room either 🤷🏽♀️she can hold her baby while MY baby is born , but neither of them will get to see

As a boy mom I don’t claim people like her! I was asked to be in the room but then Covid happened so I was on FaceTime to keep her calm.

Sometimes you shouldn’t even want your own mom to be there in the delivery room. My grandma FILMED my mom’s first birth and spent years afterwords showing the video to all kinds of random people. 😂
