When I think of this parable it reminds me of Jonah and how God grew a plant to give him shade even though he was ungrateful for it because he didn't want to preach to Nineveh because he already knew they would repent after God used him.

I have recently realized I have a “faith problem”. Not in the sense of, “CAN God do this…” but “WILL He…?” I have found myself never making excuses for my circumstances. Never asking “Why me?” but always asking, “why NOT me?”, and I’ve become so comfortable in my trials that I forget to ask God for big things. Your videos both challenge and encourage me in ways that I really need. Your words are an answer to many prayers. So thank you.

Loved your insight. In parallel, Paul mentions in 2 Corinthians 11:3 “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ”- God’s message isn’t in confusion, but His nature doesn’t need any grand gesture either, could just be something small, or rather simple, nothing complicated, for us to understand and have faith

I feel that my relationship with Jesus is strong and bonded, but I feel like a failure in that I don’t get into scripture every day. I have a really hard time sitting down and getting into the word. I love watching you, other pastors and other Christian content and I feel like I learn so much. All I hear, in my own head is how I’m not getting into the word enough. I feel like I’m failing!
