@_rbn0: RANT I was genuinely excited when Storm Emeralda was announced. I’ve always wanted to collect more Japanese Pokémon cards, and buying a booster box has always been part of that plan because of the guaranteed pulls. On top of that, seeing Generation 3 finally get the spotlight made this set even more special for me. Then I started seeing pre-order prices on the orange app ranging from ₱11,000 to ₱15,000 per box. It’s honestly disappointing. For comparison, Abyss Eye was around ₱5,000 per box, so seeing Storm Emeralda reach more than double that price before release makes it feel much less accessible for collectors who simply want to enjoy opening packs. I still love the set and I still hope to open a box someday. I just wish collecting it didn’t have to come with such an absurd price tag.
