Yall need to remember that ever since she discovered her powers she hasnt been able to touch anyone so she doesnt kill or hurt them. So when Magneto and Rogue found out they could touch each other, Magneto used Rogues insecurity and groomed her. How Rogue treated Gambit was wrong and completely unfair, but she wants to be able to touch and when Magneto came back he took advantage of that.

It’s kind of ambiguous how old she was in TAS but she was mid 20s throughout it, and that shows span across five years… she’d already been apart of the X-Men for at least a year or two if I had to guess? So bro was definitely getting with a freshly 18/19 year-old or 17-year-old.
