shaykh ahmad used to say rahimahullah for uthaymeen and ibn baz, which he doesnt anymore. so shaykh ahmad praising alwan 10 years ago doesnt mean much. in his recent lecture about udhr bil jahl he quoted shaykh binalis words: "udhr bil jahl made them not know us" in that video shaykh binali mentioned alwan as one of the heads who oppose jamah and give udhr bil jahl
