Sharing a beautiful example of the Promised Messiah's (as) hospitality, Beloved Huzoor (aba) said: “Once, during a meal, a guest expressed a desire, saying that he felt like eating mangoes. You [the Promised Messiah] said, ‘It is a very good thought that has come to your heart, to eat mangoes along with the meal.’ Then, someone else who was sitting there—either from among the guests or the local people—asked, ‘Should I go to the market and bring some mangoes?’ The Promised Messiah (as) replied, ‘No, stay seated.’ After a short while, a parcel arrived in which someone had sent mangoes. And there were eight mangoes in it. The people were also eight, and the parcel that arrived contained exactly eight mangoes.
