Is your wall peeling, bubbling or showing signs of dampness? It could be rising damp. In this video, we used a damp meter to check the wall, and the reading confirmed the presence of moisture. For proper treatment, don’t just paint over it. You need to: • Install DPC where necessary. • Remove the affected plaster. • Apply Costar 2K and Krystal Coat for damp treatment. • Replaster and prepare the surface properly. • Then repaint the wall. If you simply repaint without treating the source of the damp, the paint will likely peel again and you’ll keep spending money on maintenance. Treat the damp first.
