Whoever invented the saying “never cry over spilt milk” was not talking about breast milk cause I’ve definitely done that and I was not overreacting

As long as the breastmilk has ice crystals you can refreeze.

I’m pretty sure fire stations will let you bring breast milk there to freeze…I saw a mom in a local facebook group did it. I’d call first to make sure

Our deep freezer died last year and I lost over a gallon of milk that I was saving incase my supply dried up and about a month later my supply dropped drastically and we had to use formula for 2 or 3 months til my baby was old enough for cows milk, I wanted to cry seeing all that milk gone to waste, especially knowing that I had to take supplements just to even make enough

I lost 1000 oz during an outage that lasted 5 days, made me so upset that I messed up my pumping schedule and my supply went from 75-80 oz a day to 4 oz🥲

My husband would already have an ice chest ready and he would be getting ready to go to the next towns over which ever has power and get bags of ice.

You wanna murder someone I had a job tell me that I could just pump when I got home from work rather than at work mind you we have plenty of time for other people to take cigarette breaks, but me taking three pumping breaks during the day instead of a lunch and this was a childcare Center my place would think we’d understand right and they were like well. I don’t see why you get to have extra breaks extra breaks. I’m pumping breastmilk. It’s not a break and if we can let someone have 10 minutes to go smoke a cigarette I can have 10 to go pump. Also, if you’re worried about your freezer, you take a glass of water and you put it in the freezer until it freezes then you stick a quarter on top of it and you leave it there so whenever you have a power outage the first thing you do after the power comes back on is you go and check and you see if the quarter is still on top of the glass? I’ll let you know if there was a defrosting.
