@uctvuganda: Did You Know, On this Day | 11th July Al-Shabaab carried out coordinated suicide bombings in Kampala at the Ethiopian Village Restaurant in Kabalagala and the Kyadondo Rugby Club in Lugogo. The blasts killed 76 people who were gathered to watch the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final. The Somali militant group Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the atrocity as direct retaliation against Uganda for contributing peacekeeping troops to the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM). It marked the first major international terrorist attack executed by the group outside of Somalia. #AMISOM #UCTVUpdates
