I think it can be because of : too much excitement, reaching a lot of excitement they use a « bite » not to attack but saying « wow it’s so good BITE!! » second it can be because of a new small feather in an area, or simply because they just want to stop, all species all birds are different some know at a early young age to express their limits :)

Bc their pin feathers can hurt when you touch them to rough. Imagine a tangle in your hair and someone comes and quickly runs their fingers through it without notice. Ouch😉
