the fact that category was so clearly never meant for all asian people either.. not a single mention of southern, western, central , or even other eastern asian artists. the grammys in real time fueled a stereotype of asian people looking a certain way and/or just being kpop and called it inclusivity (which applies to the “urban” and latin categories as well). the tannies make me immensely proud time and time again of never playing by the system’s rules 🙂↕️

That new Asian category that the Grammys did felt like what Tyler, The Creator said at the Grammys I quote “ oh my little cousin wants to play the game let’s give him the unplug controller so he can shut up and feel good about it”. And he ate that up so hard 👏🏽shout out to bts for having that self respect
