I’m still figuring all this out, so I could be wrong. But I do believe God is real, and I believe heaven is too, even if it’s not exactly the way we’ve been taught to imagine it. At the same time, I have my own struggles. I lost my mum suddenly, and that’s made me question a lot. Sometimes I wonder why I haven’t had a clear sign from her, because in my heart I feel like if she could reach out, she would. Maybe I’ve missed something, or maybe my grief has made it hard to see. I don’t know. What I do know is that I personally struggle to believe in a literal hell where people are tormented forever. If God loved us enough to give His Son for us, that just doesn’t fit with the way I understand His character. I’m not religious in the traditional sense I’m new to faith and on my own journey of finding God, peace, and truth. I’m not claiming to have all the answers. I’m just sharing where I am and trying to keep an open heart while I search for the truth.

I understand your point of view but I dont agree with it partially. Your example is actually a perfect one explaining that the change is not only state of mind but also the place. The water evaporates into a Vapor (change of a state of mind) the water evaporates from the sea/lake up to the air (change of the place). The fact that we human beings are very eager to explore the sky indicates we are looking up to be in the heaven (our origin).

On another note, univers is mortal and heaven is not. Universe has attributes different from heaven by definition. It is not only state of mind, it is also a different place and maybe different dimension.
