My great grandmother said that the leaves will flip over and the cows will lay down when it’s about to storm. It happens every time!!! It may all be folklore but it usually always comes true.

my mom used to watch the squirrels and say "the squirrels are stocking up extra nuts, it's going to be a bad winter." or "they're not too busy this year, it should be a mild winter." she was always right lol

An old farmer told me that for every foggy morning in August, that's how many big snow storms you'll have in the winter. The persimmon seeds are also correct.

I live in Deep East Texas, around here if squirrels have bushy tails it means we are in for a cold winter. Guess what those little buggers have. 😳 Those tails look like bottlebrushes.
