When Hon. Ladi Adebutu represented Remo in the National Assembly, he didn’t just occupy a seat. He delivered. Here are his "BEST PERFORMANCES" that prove he’s ready to be the next Governor of Ogun State:
1. LEGISLATION FOR THE PEOPLE.
He sponsored and co-sponsored several bills focused on:
-Youth Employment & Skill Acquisition
-Pushed for laws to mandate federal agencies to prioritize Nigerian youth in recruitment and training.
- Healthcare Access
- Advocated for increased budgetary allocation to primary healthcare centers across Ogun State.
-Agricultural Development
-Championed motions to support farmers with inputs and access to markets, because he believes agriculture is Ogun’s gold.
2. ATTRACTING FEDERAL PROJECTS TO OGUN
While in the House, he facilitated:
-Educational Infrastructure: Renovation and equipping of schools in Remo. Provision of scholarships and JAMB/NECO support for indigent students.
-Healthcare Interventions: Medical outreaches, donation of hospital equipment, and support for PHCs in Sagamu, Ikenne and Remo North.
-Roads & Rural Electrification: Lobbied for federal attention to bad roads and facilitated solar-powered streetlights in several communities.
3. YOUTH AND WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
-Organized skill acquisition trainings in tailoring, ICT, hairdressing, and agribusiness for over 1,000 youths and women.
- Business Grants & Microloans distributed to traders and SMEs to boost local economy.
- Facilitated federal job placements and NYSC slots for graduates from Ogun.
4. CONSTITUENCY ENGAGEMENT & ACCESSIBILITY.
Unlike many, Ladi maintained an open-door policy. His office was always available to traditional rulers, market women, artisans and students. He held regular town halls to report back to the people.
5. PHILANTHROPY BEYOND OFFICE.
