Yall I volunteer at ACCT and you have to understand that this is an underfunded understaffed shelter. We want everyone to be able to adopt the animal of your choice but you have to go in there with patience and an open mind. It needs to be acknowledged that the majority of our animals our strays with behavioral and physical issues that need to be treated. You make like the look of a pet but may be ill equipped to handle it. Additionally, yes the adoption process does take a long time but we are trying to ensure that more animals don’t go to irresponsible owners. If for some reason you don’t find an animal at our shelter we are more than happy to point you in the direction of one of our partner shelters

Make it make sense. you euthanize animals just to bring in more animals just to euthanize them as well. how about you use all those donations and get a bigger building?? how hard is it to build extra shelter near or in the building?? this is not about those animals trust me
