a remaster is significantly easier to do than a remake so that doesn’t even make sense. they already showed they can remaster fine so halo 3 shouldn't have been an issue.

no not at all they wanted halo campaign evolved released to be around the same time as the limited edition Xbox release day so people would look at it and try getting as close as possible to reliving the midnight release when halo CE came out and the added the extra missions not to add bonus content but to be able to put the price at the same price as new game to do half the work and maximize profits with out problems and bonus information did you know you can't play the game offline you need a internet connection because your just steaming the game when halo studio says they no longer want to keep the game running in 8-10 years they will shut it down and you will never get to play it again

the halo ce remaster they did back in the day is absolute trash, it definitely needed a new coat of paint that captured the style and ambiance of the original game. The new remake hit it out of the park in that regard. Plus it looks like theyre going to do it for the whole trilogy, or at least halo 2

Halo 1 is the perfect choice too because most everyone hated Anniversary, it’s the 25th year of Halo and Xbox and remaking the whole trilogy in the same engine with modern graphics will please a lot of people and its a lot easier to do while they train everyone for a mainline game. Plus if they’re successful they can do ODST and reach down the line
