Plus the Aztec and Myans weren't really Mexicans, they were also native Americans just like the Apache and Cherokee. Mexicans as we know them didn't arrive until Sebastián de Belalcázar, Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada, and Francisco Pizarro defeated southern native tribes and Conquered the land and began to settle there
