Vector databases embed and index your code for semantic search, but I prefer a tool like graphify that builds an actual knowledge graph, nodes for different concepts so your agent can navigate ideas in your codebase not just keywords. Install is pip install graphify then run the graphify command in your repo. It uses tree-sitter to parse every file and function and build a conceptual graph, plus a human-readable graph report for you and graph.json and HTML for your agent.
