If you have limited time in Split but want to see all famous islands, then this speedboat tour is your answer to fitting in all the islands in just one day! It was €140 which is quite expensive but I do think it is worth the price if you have limited time. It is also a very long tour -11 hours so you get a whole day of entertainment The stops we visited were: 1. Bisevo Island which is where the famous blue cave is. This was another €24 entry fee. It is super popular but you actually only get 5-10 minutes inside the cave so personally I think it is overhyped especially if you have seen something similar to this before (e.g blue grotto or other blue caves in the world) it essentially is a cave that is lit up a blue colour due to sun shining through a hole - so I’ve been to cenotes in Mexico before and they have a similar vibe. I think this was pretty overhyped 2. Vis island - I think this is the nicest island of the day it is also the furthest from split and so it is generally a lot quieter. It had the most beautiful clear water but without the crowds. We had an hour here in the fishing town of Komiza. It was extremely peaceful and scenic. Apparently the filming spot for Mamma Mia 2 3. Stiniva cove - another spot on Vis, apparently once voted the best beach in Europe back in 2016. We could have a dip here but no one on our boat chose to do so. You stop a bit far from the beach so it’s quite hard to swim there and back in just 20 minutes! 4. Palmizana Beach, Pakleni Islands. An hour at another beautiful beach which gave us the chance to swim. There were also sun lounges you could rent but were pricy since we were only there for an hour. There’s a cute cactus garden in the middle of the island but it was so hot to walk around. 5. Hvar Town, Hvar. We had 2.5 hours here so enough time to grab some famous seafood. We got a seafood platter at Grande Luna and it was so delicious and fresh and well grilled - definitely recommend. We then walked around the cute narrow cobblestone alleyways. The houses are a limestone colour and there were some nice Venetian architecture including an old fortress! The speedboat itself was comfortable most of the time but your bottom can start hurting a bit as the first and last ride is like 1.5 hours. The way on the sea was calm but on the way back the seas were rough and very bumpy. You had to hold on really tight and we got so wet from the water. They did offer us waterproof jackets which I recommend as it can get cold too with the water and the wind. Overall I would recommend this tour if you have limited time in Split as it is the only way to see all of these famous sights in just one day!
