I find it quite confusing when leagues have names of brands, stadiums too but less so.. If instead of olympics is the Amazon games and you have Disney cup instead of the world cup but mind you Amazon only bought Summer, winter is obviously bought by nestle who chose to call it the milky bar and then there's the European football league that confusingly was bought by Spalding where the rugby one was bought by a guy called Wimbledon and that really confused me.. basketball is now Microsoft..

Not that this is the main issue but the disconnect is wild, the nations league, more international friendlies, no-one cares, the World Cup is exciting BECAUSE it’s not every year

Grear argument for following lower league football - until they eventually ruin that!

To be fair, it doesn’t help that Gibraltar have the same voting weight in FIFA as Germany (and there are 150 relative Gibraltars, all of whom are susceptible to a $20m bung to vote for anything). One things for certain - if FIFA sell the World Cup, why would clubs provide their players for free to play in it?

The majority nations, should get together and create a new world cup. Refresh the whole thing. Most nations would jump on board pretty quickly, leaving the other no real option but to follow suit

But the faster football implodes & collapses in on itself then the quicker we get footy back. We will always play football we won’t always pay a week’s salary to watch a game

There has always been that begrudging acceptance of FiFAs corrupt activities, however I honestly believe the red card reversal decision was cataclysmically bad for FIFAs reputation among football loving fans. Coupled with hydration breaks, everyone could see which direction FIFA want the beloved game to go.
