Before yall call me larp I’ve played ALL FOUR OF THE ORIGINAL GAMES TWICE anyway, I feel like they are just using the name silent hill to get peoples attention just like what they did with the movie last year. It’s just watered down silent hill 2 over and over again even though silent hill has many more interesting assets they could work off of, I just hope when the silent hill remake comes out (some day) they will do the franchise justice 💔

This is such a tired overdone topic now, but it does bother me that Konami is trying to turn Silent Hill into a franchise defined SOLELY by mist and spooky flesh monsters. A huge part of the appeal of the franchise for me was the town itself and the cult. I am less and less interested in these games the more they lean into "Anywhere can be silent hill oooOOOoOoo"
