Newton | An Honest Review of Blue Salt: A Fusion Restaurant That Won Me Over I’ve always enjoyed wandering down unfamiliar streets and stepping into restaurants that aren’t all over social media—sometimes that’s where you find the most memorable meals. During a walk in Newton, I came across a fusion restaurant called Blue Salt Restaurant. From the outside, it looked quite understated, but the meal turned out to be full of pleasant surprises. ✨ What We Ordered: 1️⃣ Salmon Tartare One of my favorites of the night. Light, fresh, and paired with crispy crackers that made it a great starter. 2️⃣ Burrata Cheese Caprese Sweet and tangy tomatoes with creamy burrata cheese. A perfect summer appetizer. Once you cut into the burrata, the rich, milky texture slowly spills out. 3️⃣ Lamb Chop The biggest surprise for me. Nicely seared on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor. If you’re a lamb lover, this is worth trying. 4️⃣ Bucatini alla Salmone Rich and creamy with a subtle smoky aroma. The pasta had a satisfying chew that worked really well with the sauce. I also heard they host live music and karaoke nights, and occasionally even tango performances.
