These people are talking trash when it comes to that business longevity. I grew up in onitsha, where you see a businessman building a brand but bcos they all want their children to travel abroad to study ended up no grooming those to take over from them, in most cases, these kids just go to the university to study nonsense courses then proceed abroad for masters. Currently I don’t live in Naija and I have seen how old businesses are built, from the youngest of their ages, they start inculcating them into the business or the craft to the point where they love it with their hearts. The funny thing is that these kids don’t go above high school, they start working in the business from scratch while taking courses, maybe a 3 months or 6 months depending on the stage they get to in the business at any given time.

African businesses have not been able to transend over 50 years because on the average most African countries have not had their independence from their colonial masters for over 50 years, so what do you expect

He’s wrong, truck drivers can’t startup and it’s maybe the 1% who got external funding to maybe buy a truck! What he’s talking about is simply simply middle men who help marketers buy tickets and sell them and make commissions
