My kids love Nutella sandwiches but I don’t buy “Nutella” instead I get Rigoni di Asiago Spread Hazelnut and Cocoa Dairy free. It’s a healthier version and they love it. If that’s their sandwich I do the protein more like a charcuterie board.

Here’s a lunch menu I put together. 😊 I’m going to have my 8-year-old pick one item from each category for Monday through Friday. Then we’ll check what we have, make a grocery list if needed, shop together, and prep everything on Sunday. Once the school week starts, it’s mostly grab-and-go, except for a few items that are best made fresh that morning. Feel free to screenshot this! Then upload the screenshot to ChatGPT and ask it to recreate the list as a printable PDF that fits on a standard 8½ × 11 sheet. Print it out, place it somewhere handy in the kitchen, mine will be hung up on the side of our fridge. Hope this helps! ❤️May your kiddos have an amazing school year!

My kid is in middle school, I wrote down like 15 different ideas on index cards and each week he picks 2 that we rotate through the week so he's not bored but I'm not buying a bazillion groceries.

Times have changed so much! I remember when I was in elementary school in the 90s my grandma would send me to school with Tupperware and it was the most embarrassing experience of my life (dramatic, I know) but I just wanted a regular brown bag and a lunchable like everyone else. Now a days, the kids are bringing 4 course meals in their bento boxes 😭

I always do a charcuterie type situation in their bento boxes haha. So pepperoni or salami, a fruit, a veggie, olives, pickles, some crackers, and cheese.

My lunch idea list- pasta salad (make a batch and can last a long time. put the thermos in the freezer a few min and it will stay cold for hrs. pizza roll ups- tortilla with sauce, cheese and pepperoni and roll. chicken Caesar wraps- i use the salad kits and add chicken. nuggets from sams club is a chic fil a dupe, add cfa sauce and fries and the kids love it. mini croissants and chicken salad for sandwhiches.
