We had no trouble getting tables on the day, especially if we ate before 9pm. Dinner tends to start later in Spain, so arriving a little earlier worked really well for us especially with a toddler. ✨ If you’re visiting in summer, factor in some downtime. Having a hotel with a pool made such a difference, especially travelling with a toddler and during the heatwave. 🏨 Where we stayed We stayed Ohla Barcelona in the Gothic Quarter, and I’d absolutely recommend it. The location was perfect, many of Barcelona’s main attractions were within walking distance, making it a great base for exploring the city. The rooftop pool was one of our favourite parts of the hotel. We loved taking Ayla for a swim after a day of sightseeing, and during the summer heat it was exactly what we needed. The concierge team were also fantastic and helped us secure several dinner reservations on the day, which made everything feel effortless.
