If it comes by hearing and hearing by the Word; then there is a prophetic dimension to Faith. Many times, we miss this because we don't go to God to listen to the instructions on how to be healed or what to do. Different people received differently in the bible so healing is connected to hearing and doing Each person heard, believed something specific, acted on it - and Jesus met them at point 1. "If only I may touch His garment" - she touched Matthew 9:21-22 2. "Speak a word only" - the centurion Matthew 8:8, 13 3. "Come and lay Your hand on her" - Jairus Matthew 9:18 4. Broke the roof for a touch - carried by others Mark 2:4-5 5. "Go, wash" - obedience to an instruction John 9:6-7 6. "Stretch out your hand" - acting on the command Mark 3:5 7. "Rise, take up your bed" - acting against the evidence John 5:8-9 8. Crying out until Jesus stopped - Bartimaeus Mark 10:47-48, 52 There is no single formula. The common thread is that each one heard something about Jesus, believed something specific, and acted on it. Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17), but healing came by doing what faith heard. The question to ask is not "why hasn't God healed me?" but "what have I heard - and have I acted on it?”
