@thesunnahguy: The older I get, the more I realise that the things we take for granted are usually the things that matter most. Your health. Your parents. Your spouse. Your children. The ability to wake up, pray Fajr and go to work. We live as though these things are guaranteed. As though tomorrow is owed to us. But it isn't. Allah reminds us: "And no soul knows what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it will die." (Qur'an 31:34) That's not meant to make us fearful. It's meant to make us grateful. Call your parents. Spend time with your children. Tell the people you love that you love them. Say Alhamdulillah a little more often. Because one day, what feels completely ordinary today... May become the very thing you wish you could experience just one more time.
