The thing is no one with any credibility or sense today would say Hitler wasn't racist and if they did everyone would immediately consider them unintelligent. Outside of the US this world cup is known as the one fans couldn't walk to because of such poor infrastructure in the US, the one where tickets were so high and we had hydration breaks and a half time show because of US commercialism, the one where Trump tried to override a red card! People treat football like their religion, what Trump did is as close to blasphemy as it gets for them. None of it looks good for him or the US under his presidency at all. Not to mention all the people and countries that were denied entry because of Trump's xenophobia and paranoia. The Olympics back then do not in any way make Hitler look remotely "good" or soften his image today and this world cup won't make Trump look good in 80 years either.
