You didn’t cover risk. When the company goes down, you lose the money too. Even if there is wording that your asset is protected I have seen it take years

There are many companies that have tried to do this and many have not worked out due to many issues with the mechanism of actually liquidating the collateral. The actual risk are not worth the marginal returns.
