Respectfully disagree. The different tone on the neck pickup isn't worth the extra frets. Don't get me wrong, I would own one 24 fret, but I'd be a little disappointed if it became the industry standard.

an issue with 24 frets is it pushes the neck pup down. and fanned frets add even more.

Actually the reason 24 frets is not an industry standard because the tonal you lose by moving the pickup. People who oversaturate their sound with effects rarely notice a difference but the other 75% of us would rather keep the tone. Leo Fender said the reason he didn’t believe in 24 frets is because those extra two frets make little difference but take up very valuable real estate. My Ibanez’s all have 24 frets. I almost never use them. We need both to keep everybody happy. We’re all on the same team. lol

Nah, there should be an option for 22 or 24 on money guitars though, neck pickup sounds much smoother on a 22 fret which a lot of people prefer
