My daughter, a brand new nurse, calling me to tell me while working in a hospital during covid "Mom, there are full body bags in the hallways and freezer trucks outside." Will forever stain my memory. My daughter, only 21 and just graduated nursing school watched all the patients she took care of as a CNA in a memory loss floor, die. Every. Single. One. It was a pandemic! He was doing the best he could.

Thank you, Harvey. I'm 64, so I remember the devastation of AIDs well. Dr. Fauci was even vilified back then because researching AIDs was considered a waste of time because it only affected a marginalized community (what was believed). Those of us who believe in science no matter where it takes us support Dr. F.
