Got the same cooler and was thinking of doing the same thing with the pump block (also because of vertical gpu). Are u seeing any differences with temps? especially cause of the vrm fan on the pump block

Not a good idea, i had one from nzxt that i only could mount pump with hoses up because there was no space between ram slots and pump hoses , i had 4 sticks,and the pump was getting air inside and couldn't cool properly the cpu !!
