Got a bilateral salpingectomy at 36 after my C-section with my second on advice of my dad who is a retired OBGYN. I highly recommend following ACOG on social media!

My doctor refuses to “tie my tubes” and I’m 49 years old and still have my period. I only have a 19 year old daughter and not planning on having another one. But she doesn’t want me to get my tubes tied and continue to do what I’m doing to prevent it 🤬 I need to find a Doctor in NYC who can help me!

For anyone curious, your ovaries stay intact, there are no changes to your periods or hormones. I had it done last year and it was my best decision ever!
