guys… please, she’s absolutely right; they are both considered skinny.. because they are! but Dakota doesn’t have the same curves as Marilyn, therefore she does not have the right body type to represent her fully. That being said they’re both beautiful women and i’m not trying to shame neither in any way, but be for real… we’re speaking of similarities and there are none.

Full figured and plus sized are not the same thing, and yes, Marilyn was full figured. Ppl keep stating her “waist size” as if women who have a bit of a belly can’t also have a smaller waist. Both things can be true and she was “full figure” NOT Dakota Johnson thin/skinny.

I find it funny how everyone in the comments is arguing over whether she was skinny/slim or full figured, pulling pictures from completely different eras of her life. The answer is RIGHT there: she was both. Her weight fluctuated throughout her life (like most women) lol. She was reportedly around 117–120 pounds in her youth and became famously more full-figured as she got older, weighing around 140 pounds or so.
