I live in Paris, my biggest rec is to not waste time crossing the city for the "best" whatever because the boulangerie or bistro you’re near is going to be good if it’s not right in the touristy area

Galleries Lafayette and make sure you go up to the rooftop to see the best views in Paris! And if you want the cleanest public bathrooms in the city check out the sewer museum and I’m not kidding one bit! Mouffetard Market for quick food and cute shops. Have a blast! 😁

If it is your first time. DO the touristy stuff and be a tourist. Go to the tourist traps and enjoy them. I’ve been over 50 times my great grandma is French and my grandma lives there forever and cannot stress enough to not listen to ppl that say skip touristy stuff go to where locals go. Nah BE A TOURIST. You can enjoy local holes in the wall at later visits in life. Don’t worry abt ppl saying u need to blend in YOU DO NOT. Just be aware so you are not a target because it will be obvious you ARE American . No one is trying to hide it or should.

My mom and I went on a girls trip years ago and we went to this cute restaurant called La Diva Des Pres. Very girlie and all pink! We also did the Monet Gardens tour and it was incredible. Got to see the lily pads that Monet painted and the house
