PART TWO… MY INSANE FIND FROM A NEW, UNKNOWN RAW INDIAN HAIR SUPPLIER…. Correction china & vietnam This is my second time ordering from this supplier, and after personally working with nearly 100 hair suppliers and hair collectors throughout the hair industry, I can confidently say this supplier has earned a spot on my list of favorite suppliers, especially for beginners who are just stepping into the hair industry. One thing many people don’t realize is that India is one of the largest sources of raw human hair in the world. A significant amount of the hair eventually sold by Chinese factories and even some Vietnamese suppliers is originally sourced from India before it is sorted, processed, wefted, or resold. This is why learning where hair actually originates from is so important when you’re building a long term business. When you source directly from India, you’re often able to build a closer relationship with the supplier, ask more questions about sourcing practices, negotiate pricing more effectively, and gain a better understanding of exactly what you’re purchasing. While not every direct supplier is a great supplier, finding the right one can completely change the quality and consistency of the products you offer your customers. One of my favorite things about working with smaller, lesser known suppliers is that they typically aren’t producing thousands of orders every single week. Because of that, they can often pay closer attention to quality control, maintain more consistent inventory, and provide a more personalized buying experience. As always, every supplier I release has been personally researched and tested before ever being recommended to my community.
