Cast iron is best, but I’m planning to save up for the hexclad sets from Gordon Ramsey. They’re also supposed to be free of the crazy toxic stuff. I switched my ingredients to glass bottles, but honestly it was such a hassle. I may have to concede defeat on them because it’s so messy having to switch them over and I buy in bulk.

I highly recommend cast iron! You do have to take care of them and season them but it’s worth it!

You are such an amazing mom. I would inform wherever you stayed what happened. That scary. I switched from non stick pots and pans to stainless steal. It’s definitely an adjustment learning how to cook with them but I love them.
