I'm so sorry for your tremendous loss. I'm new to y'all's story. I appreciate that you are sharing how you are dealing with your grief. My dad had Dementia and passed away just over 3 years ago. It's such a long goodbye. You grieve before they pass, then after. Sending hugs your way as you begin your journey without out BFF present physically. I can tell that your friendship was one that most of us never experience. I'm so happy for you that you have so many good memories to help you through the tough times. Take care.

something i was always taught.. when you miss a loved one, write them a letter and seal it with wax, or simply fold it and put it under your pillow at night. Your consciousness transcends during sleep and your message will get to her 💝

This is so beautiful. I’m often thinking about you both. I hope you’re doing okay beyond just grieving… I’ve seen how many major news outlets are covering Rebecca’s story. That’s a lot of attention on her and her loved ones, including you. I truly hope you’ve got the best support system and you’re able to handle such a surreal time right now. It’s not exactly the same but I had a dear friend of mine pass away suddenly in December and she had a lot of media attention due to the nature of her job and the people she worked with. I ended up in the news because of it, too. And that was very weird… because I’ve grieved people before, including my dad, but this made it a bigger challenge to grieve, so I’m really thinking about you right now, as well as all of Rebecca’s loved ones. 🤍
