I had my first dog for 7 years before I met my now wife. and immediately my dog betrayed me..... and chose her. we got a second dog. the dog I had been wanting ..... she also chose her ..... I then drove 10 hours round trip .... by myself to get our third dog. .... he slept in my arm as I drove home. he chose her ..... last year we picked up a dog on the side of the road ...... she is a freaking menace to society and we know why she was dumped (not even a question if she is lost or dumped ....).... that's when a dog finally chose me.........................

out of 7 dogs, 2 think they are my husband's (1 pit and 1 coon hound shepherd mix) both female. both think he walks on water. the other 5 (all male but 1) are velcro to me.

You know why? Because men just want them to cuddle with them when they get home, but they don’t feed them or take them to the vet or brush their hair. And the pets would rather be around the one who takes care of them then the one who just wants to cuddle sometimes
