There was a time the church was higher than the state, and there was a time the hierarchy changed. There’s also the influence of culture on religion over time. Religion expresses culture as well. So, philosophically speaking, religion has an aim and an agenda. To reorder human consciousness. And human consciousness changes from time to time. There is a God. A supreme being. But religions are windows through which the God concept is attempted to be understood, expressed and realized.

a lot of questions going through everybody's mind but one thing I would like to correct is that (I stand to be corrected though),Christianity is different from the religion you're making reference to here, Christianity is formed after Jesus’ death and it means people who behave like Christ or Christ- like people, even Jesus didn't come preaching Christianity, it's a made up term there's was a religion been practiced B4 Jesus ’ arrival (can't remember the name) maybe Judaism** and they av lots of practice and beliefs that raises a lot of concerns and questions if they were truly worshipping the same God that Jesus was preaching about.For example is it the same God that Jesus spoke so much about that says we should love one another that also instructed prophet Samuel to tell king Saul to go to a particular city to kill and destroy everyone and everything in the city,even when their offence is not clear to anybody, lots of questions.
