For the people asking if she rinses the flaxseed gel out, no she does not. She’s using it as a styler. It’s a gel. You can use flaxseed gel to style your hair. It’s not just a pre-poo. You can use it just like any other gel.

Wow! I’ve never seen the “cold press” flaxseed gel method. Yes, based on chemistry cold diffusions can preserve more of the nutrients like you said. This is a gem! Thanks. 😊

This is EXACTLY how I make mine. I also use it in my face LOVE IT..great for under the eyes. I make alot of it, I add vegetable glycerin which excellent hydration for hair and face plus it lasts longer..I also freeze if I have leftovers. love love this stuff

I boiled them but had to pour it into the container right away because I couldn’t get the cheesecloth to work for me 😂😂.

it’s quicker if you stir the seeds every couple hours throughout the 24hours so it can get a thicker consistency, then when it’s time to strain the seeds don’t stir…leaving them settled at the bottom helps you skip the mesh bag step
