I get that they already re-worked ember, but that re-work combined with other heat frames being released since then have rendered ember completely obsolete. Seems like Pablo is really focusing in on the extreme/crazy people’s request when 99% of us just want her to be relevant. Buff, re-work, whatever just get her on par with Temple. I don’t think it’s crazy for people to want that and I don’t think it’s crazy for people to keep pushing that and bringing it up.

Ember’s world on fire was horrible. Ppl remember it fondly cus they used it to destroy level 20 enemies, but it struggled on higher level enemies before steel path was even a concept. It was literally referred to as budget equinox cus she was that bad. And you see how low equinox usage is now. With how Ember is now, she is still a damage over time frame but her flames spreads she fully armor strips everything passively while gaining overguard and dropping tons of energy orbs from everything that was cloaked in her flames. She’s unkillable and burns the whole map but all ppl wanna do is exaggerate a terrible ability she used to have or compare her to a newer training wheels frame that was made to be easier to mod for newer players to have more options to keep up. She’s great as she is, ppl just don’t want to take the time to learn her kit after years cus they’re convinced they can get DE to change it back to the horrible kit she had

I think 1 simple solution to make ember unique is maybe an augment that makes it so heat procs dealt by her abilities gain a unique multiplier on par with faction damage, plus a base modifier that makes her heat procs just better than unmodified heat procs. That way if people want to min max heat procs they still can, and it makes ember retain her uniqueness.

I think to exemplify her mechanic, just let the heat meter provide additional power scaling based on fill for the ult. That way you are rewarded for engaging with her mechanics and it feels not as bad. They're kind of victims of the success of Temple and Uriel unfortunately.

i just wish that immolate energy cost didnt go from 0 to 100 per second, and keeps increasing, as soon as it hits max. Like I have often looked away for a second then looked back and suddenly I have no energy and my immolation is off.. I think it would actually be better if it functioned closer to Gauss's battery, where you need to keep the heat ramped up, rather than cooling it down. Or maybe even giving it an efficiency based off how many enemies have fire procs within a range. other than that, just not much a fan of her 4, its kinda just "meh" to me. Course almost every frame has a meh ability, so it's not like I really think that needs to be changed. dont get me wrong, I was a huge fan of World on Fire, Ember was my main warframe in those days, and I have struggled to figure out a way to play her that other frames can't just do better.

The change on ember is fine The alt on Amber is the problem is I prefer the old alt while others prefer the new. Just like banshee I prefer her old alt than the new alt.
