The baking soda science is legitimate for surface stain removal and the every other day frequency recommendation is actually responsible advice. However "whiten teeth overnight" is a seriously misleading claim. Baking soda works gradually over weeks by removing surface stains through mild abrasion not by actually changing tooth color like professional bleaching does. Managing expectations here is important so people aren't disappointed or overuse it and damage their enamel chasing overnight results that won't happen. 🦷
