If i’m doing the MRes for clinical sciences in September do you think a wet lab project or a hospital desk based project would be better in terms of applying for the STP?

this is brilliant thank you!!! Im really wanting to apply this autumn, I have just graduated i have done a placement in histo and currently working in histo but what to be able to progress and keep learning. is there anything else I can be doing now alongside working as a band 5

If I’m doing a placement year as part of a biomed sandwich degree, would it have to be with the NHS or would a placement with a private firm in an R&D lab still give me that advantage over other applicants?
