But I noticed that sometimes I can’t grab what it is that I need, like part of code if I want to make something and don’t know how, and so when I try to take that and integrate it into my own thing, it doesn’t work… I’m still completely new to this and struggle to completely have a grasp on the whole git and GitHub thing, and how it works. I’m still far from understanding how to use it and all, and do have some problems here and there

Used Claude code to upload a website it helped me build. Installed the Claude extension in chrome and Claude set up the repo and upload the site with me logging in and entering a few codes. Much easier than the first time it walked me thru doing everything manually

My concern with what you have said is the information sent back to free gits. I know there are great ones out there, but also some crappy ones. How do you choose, considering they are designed to be ok to AI but still take your info. Hopefully that makes sense

Thanks. I read somewhere that if you’re not trained, you can miss code that’s intentionally hidden in a file and could harm your computer. Could you explain how that works? Ever since I read that, I’ve been nervous about using GitHub, especially because so many AI tools lead you there.
