ppl asking why she didn't just use the same one for all of them need to remember that Callan was still alive and later declared brain dead due to lack of oxygen to the brain. She tied the band tight and walked away while he was still struggling. She left them all tied right while she went to get the next child to make sure they couldn't recover from release of pressure while she stepped away. Very calculated
