one of my cats brings me kibble and puts it on my lap to eat when my sugar is low 🥺 of course I don't eat the kibble but she's like you need food 😭

Cats are GREAT alert animals. I have a tiny little cat named Mavis and she saved my life. I got Covid and she wouldn’t let me sleep for THREE days. She’d scream in my face or lightly scratch me every time I fell asleep. Eventually I ended up going to the hospital. My blood sugar was over 1000 and I was actively dying. Never been trained but always let me know.

Mine alerts for my POTS episodes, can detect them before even I realize and will go get my family to follow him to where I am. We didn't teach him mind you, he just witnessed a couple and was like 'oh heck no, not on my watch' and has been doing this for a couple years now. Even in the middle of the night, almost breaking down the door and meowing until someone came.
