Clancy's defense team argues that she was suffering from extreme postpartum psychosis and was overmedicated at the time of the killings. Prosecutors argued earlier that Clancy was not "in the throes of psychosis" on the day she killed her children, but a woman who "acted intentionally." Clancy has pleaded not guilty.
